After the release of the less impressive "Endorama" album in 1999, Kreator proved to the world that they are still able to deliver furious, sharp-edged thrash metal with "Violent Revolution" (2001). The seminal German veterans, spear-headed by the brutal voice of Mille Petrozza, continue to follow the same path with the latest album "Enemy Of God" but this time the song writing is slightly more melodic and there is an evident touch of Swedish metal. The trademark Kreator sound has not been sacrificed though and this is no doubt THE release of 2005 for every thrash metal fan. Andy Sneap has made sure to give the album a clear production and a more massive sound than ever before. Back to basics in a way but also fresh and exciting. The glory days are here to shine once more in the 21st century and Kreator has not sounded this good since the 80s. A highly impressive album from a band that has been around fore more than 20 years. Stand-out tracks: "Enemy Of God", "Suicide Terrorist", "Murder Fantasies".
