The Brazilian death metal siblings of Krisiun are looking forward to one of the most prosperous years in the history of their band. A new album, the release of their debut DVD and extensive touring throughout Europe and North America should give most fans a healthy dose of technically precise and brutal perfectionist death metal. "AssassiNation", a somewhat simple play with words, departs from the simplicity of its title into a literal blizzard of razor sharp riffing, light speed drums (without triggering!) and insane guitar solos. It is tight and without any trace of mistakes, just as you have learned to expect from one of the longest running Brazilian metal bands of today. Krisiun have always stayed true to their own paths and visions and have never strayed. This is why they have maintained a loyal and growing fan base throughout the years and it is also why they are one of the few old-school death metal bands from the early 90s who are still active today. The Krisiun sound has become a trademark that will surely live on for several generations of metalheads yet to come. Their position as a genre-leading act has already been solidified but "AssassiNation" marks yet another quality chapter in the career of Krisiun. Solid, violent and possibly deadly.
