REVIEW: Kronos - Colossal Titan Strife Xtreem Music, 2003
8/10
Kronos - Colossal Titan Strife - cover art Intense and sharp playing at an amazing speed. These songs are well written (maybe some questoniable riffs) and can't be called monotonous or boring. The production is quite amazing wich really shows the technical skills of the players, there's not a missed beat anywhere and the guitars work together with the kick drum in a way that it's almost like an living machine. Some songs sound slightly more melodic and Black Metal-ish than usually in music called brutal death metal but not on the cost of brutality. The concept is based around Greek mythology but mostly on lyrical side, can't say much about that. The songs fit together very well without sounding too much alike.
