Are you interested in dark music called black ambient? If not, better stop reading this review, because here I want to present to you a black ambient project from Poland called Mrok (Darkness). This one man project of Orias Drakhmoor creates dark ambient with a little industrial touch. For example, first track "Acht - Komma - Acht: Self Destructive", which is one of the best, its mix of sounds of explosions and a German soldier's voice with a strange sound. Someone who is skilled in history could guess, that title is connected with Germanic canons 88 mm. But let's go to the next tracks. You can find here some typical ambient numbers like "Inny Wymiar Ciemności" ("Another Dimension Of The Darkness") or "Hidden In The Fog" with a suggestive dark and mystical atmosphere. Also very interesting is track seven - "Legion Mrok - Heil Satan" where an almost silent sound meets an industrial climate. For me it's something amazing. It's hard to describe all tracks from this material here, because every one has its own, characteristic climate, but I think that everyone who could be interested in Mrok's music now know something about this project.
I must also add a few words about the very original pack of this cd. It's made of cardboard and it's a little bigger than a standard cd pack, closing with the elastic band.
