REVIEW: Opeth - Deliverance Music For Nations, 2002
10/10
Opeth - Deliverance - cover art Opeth is a band who from the beginning made us question if we really know what good metal is. Right when we think we’ve heard the best of the best, Opeth enters the scene and blows everyone away with a double-barrel shotgun. I have to tell you, after hearing Still Life and Blackwater Park, I was not expecting Opeth to top those two efforts. But everything about their new album is perfect, even the cover art and CD case. And just how good was the music? Good enough to be in my CD player for three straight weeks, confining me from any other band.
