REVIEW: Pandemia - Personal Demon Lost Disciple Records, 2002
6.5/10
Pandemia - Personal Demon - cover art What we have here is thrashy death metal from the Czech Republic. Their music is neat, but not that powerful, which may be due to the production. What is not due to the production is that I find the vocals sadly lacking in impact and power, sort of like Max Cavalera on the earlier Sepultura albums. This is to me the weakest point of the album. They have been around for some time it seems, supporting various well known acts. I think I can safely assume they make more of an impression live than on this album, even though this album is quite good. Hopefully their next album have a little more of spunk production-wise and a vocalist with a little more attitude, but this is still an album worth checking out.
