REVIEW: Ruttolapset - Vala Self-financed, 2003
1/10
Ruttolapset - Vala - cover art There are death metal bands that hit you from the first time and can be recognized instantly whereever you hear them but there are death metal bands that you forget instantly after you've heard them. Unfortunately Ruttolapset fall into the latter category. Like they say themselves they can't really afford an good studio and you can hear that. The songs are mainly just riff after riff with no real link between them, there are a lot of solos here and there and the growls go low high low. There are some black metal elements in there too... I don't know what to say about this, not very good but maybe some more training and more studio time, then who knows?
