REVIEW: Snub - The Harvest (EP) Copro Records, 2002
7/10
Snub - The Harvest (EP) - cover art Snub was formed in Bournemouth, Great Britain, in 1995 and after recording three demos they signed with the rising label Copro Records. After one full-length album and one MCD they are back again with a new MCD entitled "The Harvest". Normally I am not too fond of aggrocore or metalcore or whatever you may want to call this kind of music but I do know how to appreciate a good band like Snub. Snub pulls out the best of heavy music and have create a very aggressive yet still melodic and interesting sound that should be able to please more than just nu-metal fans. If you want a quality mix of hardcore aggression and metal riffing I would suggest that you start out with listening to this young band because they certainly have a bright future ahead of them. This is by no means a masterpiece or something completely original but Snub have still managed to complete close to 13 minutes of pure energy and aggression that is both enjoyable and entertaining.
