REVIEW: The Warriors - Beyond The Noise Alveran Records, 2006
5/10
The Warriors - Beyond The Noise - cover art The Warriors' debut album "War is Hell" was released in 2004. After two years they are now back with the second album “Beyond the Noise”. Their music is mid-tempo hardcore with simple riffs that are delivered with a great deal of aggression. The vocals from Marshall at times reminds me very much by Zack De La Rocha witch probably isn’t that good in this kind of music. He sounds like he has been misplaced and should be in another band. The weakest point for The Warriors is their song writing since that is what brings this album down. There are no hooks, no catchy parts that you can remember at all after turning the stereo off and that makes “Beyond the Noise” monotone and the tracks float into one another. After listening to the record if feels like it has all been one single, far too long, track.
