Fucking hybrid Death/grind. Total Devastation proves that these genres are still a power within the metal world. Added in the mix are some harsh industrial samplings that produce a wild sound. Aside from the talents of each musician, it’s because of these samples that this band’s music really stands out. When used properly like within this album, the mixing of these three genres will kick you straight in the head and you will take notice. Also laced within this album is some well placed melody, but it always fits perfectly and doesn’t interrupt the sound of mutilation. With so many bands playing all these different styles, or including the same elements, it takes a serious band to make it sound good. TD have done this. Shredding out song after song, this band means fucking business. They are tight as fuck. But that may have to do with the fact that three members are brothers, and another two are twins. These guys know how to play with each other. Very intense metal, but each song has its own presence on the album. Sure they all sound similar, but each has a meaning, a reason. ... To annihilate each and everyone who listens to “Reclusion”. Even “G” from Rotten Sound appears ripping out some guttural vocals on both “Divine” and “Ground Zero”. The blast beats are a plenty, and the crushing rhythm’s smoke. Looking forward to their next release!!
