Vader is and has been one of the trademark bands of the death metal genre for quite some time. There is no denying their intensity or devotion, especially with well over 10 releases under their belts. In good news, the new album is no break from their routine. Vader is simply relentless! They manage to release quality albums over and over and over again. I really dig this album and I've been listening to it pretty much non-stop for the past week. The drumming is as fast as ever (go ahead and complain about the triggers, it really doesn't change my opinion lol) and the riffs are still heavy and brutal as ever. I feel like there isn't all that much to say about this album except that its another quality release from the long-time death metal masters. Its not perfect, because it falls into occasional monotony, and it loses my interest on one or two tracks. Those criticisms aside, this album is really nice overall and you should all give it a try. If you're a Vader fan, you honestly can't ask for anything else from this release. I would even say that they've improved and this is better than prior releases, and therefore if you heard prior Vader and weren't all that impressed, I'd still recommend The Beast.
