With the
release of Far Off Grace the band showcases an even more
melodic
approach
to the progressive Metal genre. They take their songwriting a
step
further
by giving the tracks on the album a more vivid and up-to-date
sound
and
still allow themselves plenty of technical interplay without
compromising the
songs. The album was co-produced by Dennis Ward (Pink
Cream
69, DC Cooper),
whose input was vital to the overall sound. Lyrically
the
new album draws
from short stories that the band has written over the
past
two years. Each
story revolves around, where they came from and where
they
are going in
life. The main lyrical them here seems to be that in our
lives
we often
find ourselves striving to attain our dreams only to fall
short of
our
ultimate destination. We are often "Far Off
Grace".
