Looking for that extra punch, flavor and spice to make that headbanging neck of your's ache like never before? Well, I wish I could say “Dude, look no further!” but since Sweden´s Within Y not only come from Gothenburg, play Gothenburg metal in the vein of older brothers like At the Gates and on top of it all just sound like a great coverband I´m not about to applaude. "Extended Mental Dimensions" sincerely contribute with absolutely nothing to the already worn out Gothenburg scene but does on the other hand have a cool production and a few good songs. The sound is very organic – dry, close and sweaty – and the 10 songs are crowned by a fat bunch of ballbreaking songs that team up side by side with much bigger and well known acts within the same genre.
