Season Of Mist
has now decided to remaster the first album from Yattering called "Human“s
Pain" and here is the result. The album has so far only been available in
their home country Poland but now it will be available also to the rest of the
world together with three bonus tracks including cover versions of Brutal
Truth ("I“ll Neglect") and Slayer ("Dittohead"). The leading act of the
Polish death metal scene is without a doubt Vader and to no real surprise
Yattering sound very similar to them with grinding guitars and very deep,
guttural growling. It is inevitable to happen: when a band succeeds to reach
the hearts of the fans around the world there will be hundreds of bands
following in their footsteps, trying to first copy and then improve their
sound. Some of them make it through the obstacles laid before them and others
don“t. It“s hard to say whether Yattering is one of the successful ones or not
since this is in fact the first I have ever heard from them to be honest.
Considering that this is their first release it seems to be pointing towards a
promising future - it is fast, it is brutal, it is technical and the growling
is executed pretty well. However they are still lacking a little to dig their
way to the cold landscapes of my heart. Kill, slash, maim is the promo message
and it tells the naked truth without excessice use of words: Yattering is
something worth checking out for all Cannibal Corpse fans.
